Schmapped

St. Patrick's Church, San Francisco, March 2009.

Schmap, the online interactive map and city guide, used my picture of Saint Patrick's Church to illustrate its guide to San Francisco churches and temples. Saint Patrick's is a Roman Catholic church that was built in 1852. It is located in the heart of San Francisco's Yerba Buena district, home to many of the city's newest museums and cultural centers like the San Francisco MOMA, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Museum of Craft and Folk Art, and Zeum. Peeking behind the church in the picture above is the new wing of the Jewish Contemporary Museum with its dazzling sapphire blue structure, also illustrated in this post.
